Save the Children’s annual Race for Survival event with a theme ‘No Child Left Behind’ took place in Semera, the capital city of Afar National Regional State on the 20th of October 2015.

Save the Children is calling on the world’s richest nations to reaffirm and meet the commitments they made more than 40 years ago to provide 0.7% of their gross national income to official development assistance (ODA).

Save the Children in Ethiopia launched the State of World’s Mothers Report 2015 in Addis Ababa on 08 July 2015. Save the Children analyzed household survey data for the past 20 years and identified that cities in developing countries including Addis Ababa, Cairo, Guatemala, Kampala, Manila, and Phnom Penh made real progress in saving children’s lives despite significant urban growth.

The EVERY ONE campaign in Ethiopia, marked the 300 Days left to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) targets in JigJiga, Somali Regional State.
